2. Stand up straight

Posture greatly affects your psychology when communicating with others. If you want to show confidence, your posture has to be straight and you also have to look comfortable.

You can keep your posture straight by bringing your shoulders back and keeping your head up. This way, you'll look both comfortable and confident at the same time. A stooped, tense posture, shoulders forward, and head down can cause feelings of insecurity, shyness, and anxiety.

3. Eye contact

According to Michael Ellsberg, an expert on body language, eye contact is one of the important methods when interacting directly with others. Maintaining proper eye contact signifies honesty, sincerity, approachability, attention, and a willingness to listen.

A person who makes eye contact during a conversation tends to give off a sense of security while also exuding confidence. On the other hand, if you look away or down when talking to others, it is usually a sign of insecurity.

While it may seem like a simple, even somewhat insignificant detail, the posture and direction of the feet when talking to others is also very important. You should keep your legs in line and point your toes towards the opponent, while maintaining an upright position.

This is a good way to show that you care about the other person. This pose also makes you look more confident. On the contrary, if your feet start to point out, it could be a sign of restlessness, anxiety, irritability, and even a need to leave quickly.

5. Keep your hands in sight

When you want others to see your confidence, you shouldn't put your hands in your pockets. Putting a hand in a pocket shows anxiety, insecurity and wanting to hide something or keep a distance.

That's why it's better to keep them in sight and in a comfortable position.
